The resistor hack is to fool the ECU into thinking that the EGR system is all good. More typically used as part of blocking of the EGR with a metal plate. So, maybe there's a metal plate, maybe not. Obvously the PO has 'fiddled' with things. With the new temperature sensor it is detecting that...- Words: 120
