    Other than the pulley, did the alternator and bracket fit / line up ok or was there a problem with that too? I'm in bad need of a decent alternator on my 60! The LED bulbs helped greatly at night (no voltage change when they're turned on or on high beam), but that occasional discharge flicker...

    Yep, you can, but if you don't want to see staples when reinstalled, you can use adhesive or nothing

    Did you re-staple your wiring harness "bridges" to the new carpet? I ask because it looks like a staple next to the scuff plate in the last photo. If it is, and if you ever want to redo this, you can either (a) use trim adhesive to attach the bridges to the carpet or (b) you can do nothing at...
