No smoke shows either.:frown: Well it sounds and looks like you have a love for 4x4's and I wasn't trying to pry on your state of employment. I havn't worked since December.
Yes chevy springs should be good enough. Time will tell. LS power x traction. I guess there ain't a whole lotta rocks in...
Just looking back a few pages and I am now realizing you did your SOA. Congratulations! Finally joining the boys with at the small penis club. lol.
I do agree that the rear axle has to move back. I just re-drilled the spring perches and u-bolt plates and used a 4 speed drive shaft thats 3-4...
What kind of gasket goo do you use? Have you ever heard of "the right stuff?" Seals like a hot dam and I have NEVER had a leak since I switched. Its black, and you know the saying "Once you go black, you never go back."

Man you have had a rough go with your cruiser. I bet you can rebuild the 3fe blind folded by now. MIght as well go with a 305 or 350. Same fuel mileage more power. Way more power.

I love body roll, then again, mothers do reach for their children when I drive by. SOA is the s***. If you havn't done a cut and turn yet, its pretty fun. 6 shooters are over kill unless you are building a trail/rock crawling V8 truck your gonna jump. BJ 74 springs work great for SOA on a 60...
Loooks like fun. I too broke 7 birfs before i bought longfeilds. Running huge tires with not much room to flex will make contact with the fenders and snap. How are your bumb stops? maybe a wee bit of a body lift or smaller tires would benefit your wheeling experiences. I would be real surprised...
