If this is true it’ll be a tough hole for Sig to climb out of.

In regards to changes in availability. The new weapons/round are for “tip of the spear” units. Engineers, SF, infantry. Support units will be using the M4 indefinitely.
My read is that the 5.56 round won’t see a change in availability.
Chinese and Russian body armor are driving the need for a more powerful round.
The new round/grain count mean better accuracy but also more stopping power/lethality.
The supply chain/parts homogenization/ will reduce the production line as well.
Sig has a winner with the M17.
2100 rounds, one malfunction. It was a poor ejection (most likely a weak hand grip by soldier)
highly impressed. I also love the locking mechanisms on molded holsters. Their worthless for y’all unless a LEO. But they SECURE the weapon while having it accessible.
anybody used one of these? Amazon.com : Mace Brand Pepper Spray Pepper Gun (Silver) : Sports & Outdoors
looking at getting one for wife. We have small kids and so a hand gun in purse or car doesn't work for her.
We abuse the snot out of them. They hold up well actually. These are just to old. Thousands of ranges through them
The slide on one is so loose i can put a knife blade in it.
I also take issue with the M4 being slung. If it was safed or empty...ok.... But he flagged the camera.
I got flagged by a private this past weekend.... He will tell you it WONT happen again.
Apples and oranges Grog on size.
I shot a 9m beretta, my .40 and a glock 9 Saturday. Weight, balance, trigger squeeze are all different. Prefer the beretta right now but it's Bc my shield isn't broken in yet. ..... Yet
