Oh, I guess I missed the part that you have a p-pump. I was making references to the VE pump. Yea, there is no way to advance the timing dynamically on the p-pump. Only static adjustment. Rig is sick man!

Understood. Have you tried advancing the timing? Do you know if its set at stock or already advanced? I have run stock injectors a long time ago. Mine are too big now. I run 5x.014 (like +90-100hp) and ran 5x.010 which is stock for a p-pump engine. 5x.012 is best for 90% of peoples setups. Wish...

What injectors did you have and which ones do you have now? Why not bump that boost level back up via the low boost fuel screw "smoke screw" -top of the pump, or probably better to do it at the "full power screw" on the back on the pump.

Jealous of the P-Pump and all the coupler and clamps deleted! Mine are almost all double clamped and I still have issues blowing them off. That is a one less nagging problem to fix. After I thought about it, IIRC, I also had to loosen the WG on the big turbo to get rid of some extra boost that...

Dang, thats alot of boost. Is the engine built to handle it regularly? I didn't like when I could only use part throttle because I had so much boost. In my experience, when I have fixed a boost leak(s) and have been able to hit 50-60lbs super easily it feels really good on the low end, but...

I hate trying to adjust those. It looks like it has a rubber boost reference line from the compressor to the WG actuator? If so I would order up another boost fooler to add in the air hose. Much easier to adjust when the WG is opening on the fly. Being able to tune in the middle of a test drive...

Boost is best thought of in terms of pressure ratio, PR, when working with compounds. I'm in no way an expert, but figured most of this out on my own and finally got it working how it should. I would think to aim to get your big turbo to have between 10-13lbs when you're at 40 total. Whatever...

First off, congrats on compounds! Tuning them takes some patience. Do you know what your IP timing is set at? I thought I saw mention of an inline pump so I'm assuming you have a P-pump and not a VE? In another effort to decrease EGT you can play with advancing the timing as well. I wouldn't...
