That truck is a GCC or Aus spec with ambulance doors and factor spare carrier. Makes me think this is not a pic from here in the States... granted it could be an imported truck.
Spotted this FJ60 while attending a shooting course down in Pinal county…
Lifted, 35’s, engine swapped with a Mercedes Turbo Diesel. Internal cage that was clearly pro-fabricated.
Sorry, late to the party, but that is me.
I was looking back at the photographer actually... my wife was next to me in her car and told me the guy behind her was snapping a pic. I turned back to look for a minute. Ha!
@samtoddlee, we've met once before. I think we ran into each other fishing...
I'm unsure of what the requirements exactly are... but they can't just be brought in with a DOT and EPA form by someone like me or you. If it's over 25 years old anyone can import with the DOT and EPA form.
If it's less than 25 years old and NOT on the approved list... forget about it.
If it's...
It’s more than the stickers... the hood ormanment, the swing out, the tire cover... so many GCC spec parts. Oh, and the dark tint; classic Arab 100-series.
So much on that truck screams GCC spec... except for the rear tailgate. That seems to be a North American tailgate (no spare swing out).
But man, in Abu Dhabi and Dubai that is EXACTLY how the 100 series look.
