Good eye, three plugs actually lol. Apparently this is what you get when buying used tires off ebay. I did have it tested and thus far she's holding air fine.
My spare before the new rear bumper was not a 5th wheel/tire match, plus it was toast from being dragged and dropped on.
No spacers and I get a wee bit of rub at full clock, nothing that is not avoidable day to day though. Don't recall ever rubbing off road.
Thanks for all the compliments!
thank you, sir. And yes, a very proud father indeed :D
I did paint the lower rear quarter. Scuffed it with sand paper, then rattle canned it primer grey then flat black.
Okay, so I got a little distracted with a 40. With spring here, and the little ones old enough to camp, well, focus is now back on Greenie. I finally broke down and bit off a big one – a new rear bumper! Ended up going with the HC bumper from BIOR, complete with 2nd carrier and ladder for...

aight, so after a crazy xmas holiday, including a move into a new home, i finally was able to muster up the cash to continue my build.
Ended up convincing the wife on spending the money by using the fact that i' would purchase the less expensive of the various bumpers on the market, hence the...
anyone help with sourcing the screws that hold the inner fender/apron to the wheel well? I think I found it here, the number 6? Not for certain and I'd hate to order the wrong thing. I'm sure just any ole screw would work, but I'd like to match those already in place.
This points out the lil...
few pics of the sliders below. First impressions - wow, these things are heavy duty. Very solid workmanship. Install was not a bid deal, even without jack stands and a lift (I just propped them on a cooler).
The sliders run parallel with the rockers 3/4 inch or so apart except for when the...
well, well, well, look what was left at my door yesterday :D

WKOR sliders in dah house! woot!
Will bolt them on after work today...can't wait.
living that close to ACC would put a hurtin on the wallet
ACC did the lift for me, great guys, very competitive pricing. Brian and the guys were easy to talk to and kept me involved along the way with timing and particulars.
aight, so stage 1 of my upgrades is complete, and to recap included:
removal of all the crappy stuff: brush guards, running boards, hood protector/wind thingy.
installed new head unit, JVC KW-XR810 Double-DIN Bluetooth Dual USB/CD Receiver with USB 2.0 for iPod/iPhone, and...
aight, so while I wait for my suspension kit to arrive in the mail I went ahead and updated my head unit in Greenie. In doing so, I didn't want GPS or DVD. I did want something with a nob to turn so as to not kill myself touching/looking at a screen. Also wanted something that would match the...
I assume so. Had the wife drive it with the hood up so I could zero in on the sound, and it was coming from the brakes/wheel well area. First came from the front right, then stopped after driving some, then came from the back after running through more water and mud. I was not submersing the...
few pics from a semi off road Easter weekend. Cruiser is still 100% stock, but I have to say she handled everything perfectly...even with nearly bald tires.
pasture trails, drainage ditch crossings, a half mile of creek bottom, some mud, and a few moderate climbs made up the adventure. This...
aight, so after a long discussion with the wifey today I received the green light to start on my upgrades. After reading tons of threads here on MUD regarding what, how, and how much, I've decided to plop down the doe on the following:
Tundra 18s for a wheel upgrade. I sold my full size...
perfect timing, i was about to message 2000UZJ after noticing he too was from the ATL area. I was going to ask if he could refer me to a shop with TLC mod experience.
Took my TLC to a local truck accessory shop to discuss the cost for a 1.5-2'' lift. After pointing him to the right website...
