    Fan clutch looks like the easiest and least expensive option to swap out and test. Yes it should get much harder to turn when hot. As for lack of high jackstands, Is there a Prius you could pull the front wheels up on the hood to get the height?

    What are you doing for side mirrors? Looked back at photos and couldn't see the drivers side well enough to see if there is one there.

    My hard top needs work but is probably worth fixing. I believe my truck is a FST and the original owner, or his friend the 2nd, acquired the HT.

    When your hard top goes on would you let me buy your soft top and doors? I am the opposite and will have the hard top off of the truck most of the time. It's cooler in Tomball you know. :cool:

    What about cutting off the thread sticking though on the inside that got galvanized? I'll learn from your experience though and put them in thread deep.

    That is entirely reasonable on price. Makes me want to start disassembly on my 77'. I'm on the NW side, Tomball, and will take it to AZZ. Who did you use for powder-coating on the wheels? Did you powder-coat other items with them too?
