Also: OEM FJ62 electric mirror, right hand side. Original glass (I think). Works and in pretty good shape. Painted black as the original chrome was flaking.
$50.
For that price you could flip it in the normal forum and make a hundred bucks ;).
So I invested in a FrontRunner Slimeline II rack for my FJ62. Also dumped a bunch of cash into the various accessories (boxes, mounts, etc.). I have some extra I'm not going to use. Not sure if anyone local has one of these racks, but let me know if you're interested in anything below - I'd part...
Hey guys. I posted this up on the Google Group as well, but: looking for a front right mudflap for my 60-series. I lost one in the snow and ice here in Ketchum last week, darn it. Please let me know if you have something around. Thank you!

Boise Spring Works re-arched my existing (stock) springs. Affordable and quick turnaround, but re-arching doesn't result in the best ride. I could indeed reach out to them to see what they have laying around - good idea. I'll also watch to see if Ian's recently-refurbished 60-series gets new...
Thanks for the response, Ian. I figured that, of all of us in this community, you probably see a lot of stock springs get pulled and thrown in the dumpster. The OME light duty kit is probably what I'd run, but considering the $2k + price barrier I figured it was worth asking around first. Do...
I'm getting awfully tired of bouncing around on my poor-man's suspension lift. Five years back I re-arched the springs on my FJ62 to get ~2.5" taller. Looks sick, rides horrible.
I'm still unwilling to pay the money SOR asks for its two-inch "Comfort Ride" lift kit. They want $2650 plus...
Others may chime in, but Mulder's been doing this for years. Unsure of their backlog or current interests (it's been a few years since I brought him a 2F head to magnaflux):

Sorry these are long gone. I've got a bunch of parts I've helped re-create (see my signature), but otherwise I've pretty much liquidated my parts piles.

A couple sets of mid-duty truck tires. Listed on C-list for $300 for each set. Would sell them here for $200 (each set). Both links:

I'd call Radiator King on Overland. They've repaired several OEM cruiser radiators for me and I've been satisfied. Unsure of a heater core specifically, but worth asking.

Yes, she did. And glad to hear she grabbed the right one. She called me as she was driving away. "Was it sitting outside? Hope I didn't steal someone's." Hah.
Thanks again, Ian.

Ah crap. I'd take the 60 radiator, but highly unlikely I'll make it down this week. Could I trouble you to pull it out of the trash? I can arrange for someone to swing by.
At risk of "double posting", I've helped re-create some NLA springs for the FJ55 / pig community. Door handles and tail gate springs, details are here:

Still have oodles of them, should you...
Hey Bryan. You should double check the bolt pattern. I know that my 1989 FJ62 uses the same bolt pattern (and thus can use the same steering box) as early FJ80's, though I don't know when that changed. To your point it may have been when Toyota left the 3FE behind. When my FJ62 box wet the bed I...
On the hunt for an FJ60 transmission cross member. Needs to be later model, so 1985-1987. Fits "flat" vibration isolators on the manual tranny. Looks like this:
... blingy chrome finish not necessary (stole that image from my related thread, here).
Thanks!
