@FirstFJ60 Shocks I used are posted with a link to them earlier in the thread. @garfieldthecat pretty sure the part numbers to the shackles are in the photos I posted earlier. They were stock height, not extended or anti-inversion. They've been good, but if doing over I might go with the...
Kurt's springs will be awesome for anyone not wanting to go up. I didn't want a lift either, and was a little concerned when I initially saw how much different it looked, but the new stance has grown on me. I might like it more now. Suits the truck so much better, doesn't look tired. I had...
Correct: 2-inch lift with one leaf in front, and one leaf in rear, taken out. Can't remember which leafs I removed, third I think? - it was the most obvious one to take out since it wasn't strapped like the others. Ended up with five leafs in front, six in rear. I had previously bought new...
Thanks! Rides so nice, better than it should, really, considering solid axles. Very happy with results.
Also, new price on the brand new set of stock height springs and Ubolts - $495 USD plus shipping.
EDIT: SOLD
Selling the stock height leafs I bought (fronts from SD, rears from General Spring.) Part #s: 90-105 rears, 90-102 fronts. Five-leaf fronts, six-leaf rears. These are an exact fit to the OEM springs. Bought these new because I wanted to keep my 1983 FJ60 at stock height, but later...
Just said pull one leaf. Will confirm with them about which one, now that you mention.
@toy_tek are you saying I may need to adjust driveshaft length with this modest lift? How would I even do that?
Cancelled order with General Springs of KS, which couldn't get the stock-height fronts after nine months. Then ordered fronts from SD Truck Springs, which also couldn't get them after a month, so I ordered fronts and rears from Dobinsons. All shipped within a couple days. Springs look way...
I ended up cancelling the order for my front springs from General Springs. Fronts were still back ordered in late May after placing order in early Nov '21. They did ship the rears, so I am selling those and going with Dobinsons, I think. Also, really poor communication and customer service -...
SOR also has a good shackle and bushing kit for stock springs. Can't recall if they come with the U bolts. Don't forget the rear pads. City Racer and others sell them.
