So I'm no expert, but the way I understand it is when you running a 91/2" in the front your running on the back side of the gear= the weaker side.
when you running a High pinion 8" front axle it has reverse cut gears and your running on the front side of the gears = the stronger side and why...
9.5 is only marginally stronger the hi pinyon 8”diff with reverse cut gears. And the extra clearance is a plus.
If you’re not 38-40” tires I don’t see a issue.
Even then they hold up just fine as long as you don’t hammer down in reverse.
