^^^^^^^ This It would only be a issue for extreme Rock crawling which most 80 series owners don't do. I even ran the Dusy Ershim trail with a friend that had them, they were never a issue he got hung up on the exhaust pipe running under the frame a lot with a 2" lift but never the drop...

Member @eimkeith makes some really nice drop brackets for a 2" lift and they move the axle forward a bit. I'm not sure why they are not used more there the perfect solution for people running a small lift and bigger tires ;)

My apologies if I offended you, My comment where directly related to lelandEOD insistence that the arms shouldn't clearanced. the way he was talking I assumed that it was his truck and he stated that he wasn't going to debate how much was OK to remove. The fact that they lasted as long as the...

In less your going to be hard rock crawling, @eimkeith drop brackets are one of the best way to correct caster and make room for 37s on a small lift. Not sure why they are not more popular!!

There no debate. those arms were hacked. Whenever something is modified a little common sense is required.

The arms are cast into a I beam, If you remove the upper flange of the I beam you definitely have a ticking time bomb I hope you replaced both of those arms. Nice trail fix by the way!

That I would like to see pictures of !! The 80 is a heavy pig and not made to jump. I’m surprised it had enough power to get that far in the air. I jumped mine at Pismo beach but only about 3’ in the air with no damage but landing in the sand is different plus running 37” tires with only 13 PSI...

I wholeheartedly agree, add to that if I bend another one it’s easily replaced with another OEM one from any junk yard or Cruiser enthusiast. Just try to get a arm from Delta right now, I think there 6 to 8 weeks back ordered. Same reason I run beefed up rear lower control arms !!
