TY,
Thanks for the photos. That pedal looks a lot like the '71 pedal I have, however, there are a few subtle differences. Do you mind measuring the overall length. The '71 pedal I have is about 16.5" in a straight line from upper point above pivot to bottom of pedal. It is about 1.5-2" too...
He has a '71. That is where I got the '71 pedal.
I should have guessed it wouldn't fir a '69 as the bracket is different in a '71 (and much harder to remove the pedals).
I'm looking for a '69 clutch pedal. I found a '71 pedal and thought it would work, but oops, not the case. The "arm" is too long for a '69.
Not exactly sure what a 69 clutch pedal looks like but think it has a bend to the left, similar to the brake pedal arm.
Anyway, if you have a 69 clutch...
Ok, long shot, but thought I'd ask before I cut holes in a '71 grill.
I'm looking for an early grill with the cut outs for the grill-mounted turn signals. If anyone has one and they'd ike to sell, please let me know.
If not, then I'll begin cutting! BTW, anyone else modified a "2nd gen"...
I bought my set from Cruiser Corps. They are wider than the original steelies at 7". Looks like 7" is the minimum for 31x10.5 tires.
I hope to keep my 31x10.5 and addthe new wheels with caps.
Bought a set of 15x7 Toyota OEM steel wheels and chrome caps. The wheels are black but I want to go with the classic gray. Or is it pewter? Any suggestions on painting the wheels? DO it myself rattlecan or something else?
Also looking for suggestions on tire size. I have 31x10.5x15R on...
Thanks, Dave. Any idea where your mailbox reflector is from? Napa Parts has a good match for the rear reflectors, but I have not found a suitable one for the side.
