I love the Bilsteins on my 100 - best money I've spent also. I wished I would have had them befere I drove it off the lot when new. Can you put them on a 200?
The Bilsteins are worth every penny - do yourself a favor and put them on. I would have had them put on before I left the lot in 04 if I had known how much better the LC drives on and off road with them on.
Does it sound like a knocking sound. Mine has been doing this this winter but if i put it in neutral or take my foot off the brake it stops. It only does it in temp below 55 degrees after a 40 degree or colder night. What do you think it is? I have been thinking about taking it in but it stops...
I just changed my Mich Lat Tour HP's after only 28000 miles - i got about 43,000 out of the Pilot LTX's that came on it. Do not worry about it to much because you will only have them for a couple of years or so. I ran them at 32 in the front and 34 in the rear. The Toyota recomended tire...
Do you know what year the LCs where that you sold the shocks for? Are any of them 04s? I wonder if there is a difference in the shocks from year to year or maybe from 98-2002 and 2003-2007. Are the shocks you sell for a 2000 LC the same as a 2004 LC? I am really trying to figure this out :bang...
Based on my recent experience I would strongly suggest that you not buy the "OEM" shocks from Toyota. The shocks you are getting are not the same ones that came on your LC from the factory - they are "superseded" replacements with different part numbers. I had some put on my 04 with 71,000 at...
Thanks - I am really disapointed with the ride of the superseded "OEM" shocks. Just one more question for you guys with Bilsteins. I live in Houston have a farm/ranch I drive on lots of dirt and gravel roads. I do not drive on rocks or really much mud (IH8MUD) - I like the smoothness of the LC...
How is your ride with the new "OEM" shocks?
I just had mine changed on my 04 and the ride is not the same. The LC does not seem to soak up bumps like it did before and the ride is softer - it seems to float. I do not like it. The part numbers are different because I understand that the parts...
Gas to Big Bend from Victoria - $100
Steaks for the grill while camping - $30
An animal crawling into your $70k+ 200 LC and dying - Priceless;)
THAT SUX!!!
If you swap that 200 for a 4runner you defanatly will not be able to play here.:flipoff2:
You'll go from everyone wanting your rig to everyone here looking at you drive by and thinking - that guy should have bought a Land Cruiser. Just playing - I was on the the 200 forum and saw your thread -...
I have an 04 LC with mobile one synthetics in front dif, rear dif and transfer case that is doing exactly the same thing. I have 66,000 miles now - I switched to synthetics at the 60 k service. At 65k I had the fuel injectores flushed and the throtle body cleaned which did not help at all. Any...
I friend of mine took his wifes 2001 LC to a stereo shop in Houston with the same problem. The guy told him that it happens on lots of cars over time that the speakers get damaged over time from opening and closing the door.
There are alot of people who drive a Sequoia who wish they had bought a LC but I bet there are not alot of people who bought a LC that wish they had bought a Sequoia.
I felt the same way when I took delivery and they "tried" to explaine how the navigation/AC/radio system worked.
You could check with a Lexus dealer for the AHC replacement.
On my 04 - 22in and 24in. Keep the assembly from Toyota incase you want to go back to Toyota blades only— if you pitch the whole thing and have to buy the whole assembly from Toyota it is around $60.00. Also the Bosch blades are good, but are a soft rubber compound (compared to other blades I...
OEM glass from the dealer should be $700 - $800. If you have an 04 or later the internal tint on the glass is green and no aftermarket glass is made with a green tint so you will have to go OEM. I had this done a year ago and paid around $700 total at the dealer.
