    Is your truck wired for a trailer? I had a similar problem when the five wire to trailer four wire little black box shorted out.

    I have a Bj74 that has the speed (bing bong) indicator. I disconnected the annoying speed (bing bong) indicator and connected it up to the dash lights and door sensor. Now when the I leave the dash lights on and open the door the buzzer goes off. This has saved my batteries several times.

    24V Headlight warning buzzer mod...?

    On my BJ74 there is a speed warning buzzer. I disconnected the buzzer and tapped into the dash lights. I wired the buzzer to the interior dome light. Now anytime a door opens with the lights on the buzzer goes off. Find a 24v buzzer and you should be good to go.
