This sounds promising. It's the first thread I found in starting to research clock springs. My cruise, airbag and horn just quite while on the trail, so it looks like I'm on the hunt for a clock spring. Do we know what the original 80 series p/n and this Corolla p/n are for the clock spring?
I have been contemplating this since my OBA is right at the driver's window and LX only has one sliding window there. I don't like the idea of having to unlock both latches every time. What about using a cam latch with rods that go to the sides? More complicated to fab, but easier to operate...
I have 2 full sets of 80 series leather sets, free to good home.

I have two full sets (including 3rd rows) of 80 Series leather/power seats, both sets are tan. They are in dirty, but fair condition, motors work, but the fronts are ruff with the typical wear, cracking, starting to rip, etc. I have a bag of plastic covers, I think most if not all of the...
I know this is super old, but does anybody know where to get the brass version of these caps anymore? My LX450 came with them on and Discount Tire failed to transfer them when I had new tires put on.:mad::mad:
I was playing pool last night with a friend who mention she has never been wheeling and wanted to go. So I volunteered myself to take her out Saturday. Wondering if anybody else wants to go. If I am going by myself I will take her up the back road to Crown King. It is travelled enough I that...
I could use one for my cameras. I am switching them so that they are not on all the time. I am installing a front facing and backup camera. Something like this icon would be great, thanks in advance.
I have 4 285/75 R16 BFG AT tires and a old Yokahama as a spare. They are almost new(ish) with 13 or 14/32s out of the 15/32s they came with. There are 3 BFG All Terrian KOs and one KO2. They came off my 96 FZJ80 as I went to 37 inch mud tires. The rims are Eagle alloy 16x10 inch rims with a...
I took my boys with our BSA troop a few years ago during Xmas break. We stayed in Furnace Creek, more central, but still LOTS of driving. Would love to go back and do some wheeling. Couldn't when we were there with other families and their mini-van/cars.
Our Tempe-based IT company is in need of a entry-level PC Tech. The office is in Tempe but you will drive all over the Valley. This is a SKILLED entry level job, I can't stress SKILLED enough. We are not here to teach you how to fix computers, you should know how to do that already for the...
So does anybody have any experience down in the Copper Canyon area or have any suggestions for must see sites or towns. I've done some searching online and it seems most are taking the train (El Chepe) or they are on tour buses.
And shootings don't happen in US?
A hell of a lot more people get shot, killed and worse in the US everyday. Most of the violence in Mexico is domestic violence, and American's are rarely if ever involved. The violence is also centered on the border (with some hotspots along the coast), we...
I'm thinking about heading down to Copper Canyon in September for a week. I am just gauging interest and see if anybody else might want to go. There is no itinerary yet....hell I don't even have a passport yet.
I just bought 2 of these when Amazon was having a Lighting Deal for $28 each. They have already arrived. I havnen't played with them much more then take one out of the box and power it on. But they seem like great little devices. Will be testing them this week on the trail.
