I used this one, but I bought it at Auto Zone for around 50 bucks. I think I gave em the number AC Delco VC120. I just watched several of the Youtube videos on replacing it. That Texas Know How guy has the longest videos but he is very thorough on all his videos for 80 Series stuff.
I got a replacement tank (new) that ended up also cracking. Got it welded and it got a crack again. Another weld on it and finally I replaced my charcoal canister and it held great after that 2nd weld fix. Not sure if you've replaced the charcoal canister in the bay but it was super easy even...
Damn, I thought I was good with 5/8" of washers and longer bolts. I suppose I will try a little longer bolts and more washers and see if that works, With the amount of people who have deleted air bags and installed new springs/shocks to lift it, it would not be such an undocumented fix to this...
After the washers have been added, is there some sort of reset you need to do? I've got all my washers on (including longer bolts) but the message is still displayed on the dash.
So what I read in that thread you posted, it seems that approximately 1 cm of washers for a 12 mm bolt is the trick to get the "check air suspension message" off your dash. Adding these also helps with the auto leveling of the headlights when driving (which I was not aware even existed haha).
So I bought a 2013 with a lift and rear air bag delete, and it also has this message on the dash. Has there been an easy fix determined here on MUD that I have not been able to find thus far? Thanks!!!
I do plan a build so just waiting to see how this goes with the dealer first. Was not planning to drop my own $$$ into it right off the bat for this issue.
2013 GX 460 - Just bought 2 weeks ago from a dealer in AZ (transported to NM) who insisted it was not that way when it left the lot. The deal is reimbursing me for an alignment, which I got but it is still pulling and veering to the right. Rotated tires, still the same. Alignment place said the...
This theft most likely had nothing to do with the "southern border" and the perp was probably some white meth head like I see all over NM. And no thank you on the push to vote GQP. But you keep being you, dude.
Hmmm, I went with these and gave them my VIN when ordering. The descriptions says front/rear. I am replacing the front ones. Should I be fine with them?
