SOLD Los Angeles 1999 UZJ100 Land Cruiser 134.4k, factory rear diff lock

No frame work. Toyota Santa Monica just did a pre-sale inspection. Replaced gaskets for both differentials but otherwise clean bill of health. I have a potential buyer having it inspected tomorrow.

More adventure - I didn't end up crossing that stream, just a toe into it... Better judgement prevailed.

Yeah, thanks for the advice. At this point I think I'll wear them down and replace then in the future. They're troublesome but doing ok for now. Sent from my iPhone

Anyone ever experience their brake pedal not releasing right away? If I'm at a light for any length of time the pedal wants to stay down. When I take my foot off the brake it slowly releases. If I pump it it firms up and releases no problem. No issues with stopping or braking. Sent from...

Anyone have a favorite oil (synthetic vs. normal) for 100 series with 93k miles? Also, frequency for oil changes? I can read the manual but what's good policy on these babies Sent from my iPhone

Ok, another update - I think Stokes did it. I had all 5 wheels balanced and yet another alignment done. Last night was the first time I could get up to 68 mph on the highway (LA - sheesh) and I did NOT detect the shake. I even had a spurt up to 75mph and didn't feel anything like before. I...

Yeah, you're not kidding. Don't even add up the u joints and cvs. Puke... One more try and then it's off to replacements. I just can't stand driving this thing with the shake and that's not what I bought it for. If only I was not in LA... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Back in the 90's a group if used to hit Anzo Borrego on a regular basis. The granite staircase, ocotillo wells, etc. That was about it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeah, I just talked to Jim at Baggie and Son's and he said the high speed on-the-car was equivalent to 60mph but he did say that a road force was different and potentially better as he had limitations to what he could do with a full time 4x4 set-up. I found another shop with a road force...
