No need, I used what came with the kit and the table has held up great to lots of nights camping and what not. Been one of my favorite mods to the truck so far.
I pulled the door panel and bolted on the backing plate with the paracord so its all just one piece at the end, will make sense once you remove the panel. No issues since its been installed
All good man its Toyota Part# 58839-60040. There is also a blank plate panel you can use as well but the cubby is pretty useful for random small stuff etc.
No worries, I did the body mount chop back when I had Tundra wheels as the rubbing was pretty bad, seems like its not needed with the TRD's from what I can tell. Fully deflated is the only way the 285/70 will fit in the spare even with 5psi or so it still wont go. Hope this helps!
The General's have been awesome, I'm on my second set at the moment. Definitely recommend a set.
The spare is fully deflated so I do have a constant TPMS light on the dash. Depending on what year GX's you have, I believe you can disconnect the TPMS system or fool it to not turn on any warning...
I carry a dirtbike on the back a lot so this would be nice for easy access since my door only opens a few inches with the bike loaded. Pricey but they have been developing this for a few years now, I think I'd only go for the driver side if I bought one.
Also heard that ACC Toyota is...
