Looking for original starter and alternator. The previous owner owner of my LC replaced all my parts with crap from Advance and returned the cores. I have a 92, but I have been told that the 91 stuff should work.
Maybe a tensioner isn't engaged enough. I would mention Toyota belts but you said it started after you did the job so that's probably not the issue. However based upon my experience I had bad squeal and chatter when I tried using belts that were not Mr. T... I just bought a complete kit from...
Unless you know the history, pretty much everything is a good idea to look at while it is exposed. Every time that I have had my rad out (three times now) I have checked all sorts of things, especially tensioner pulleys. Sucks if they seize up.
Yeah that sucks. Mine is still in place but it was spinning. I could use my nutsert tool and reflare it and it would hold a screw. Issue is that I cannot find a good kit that has the same kind of setup like WitsEnd had for the roof mod.
Also would you happen to have a complete ignition/lock cylinder with keys for the whole vehicle? Also a 92. I know that I am late to the party but I figured that I would ask.
For a 92 and the color is not important as I will paint it anyways. Just looking for something that is not cracked and hacked as the PO did a dremel job on my current dash to fit all sorts of crap.
Man that sucks. Some folks go agro on nuts/bolts and screws. I was fortunate that mine were not too hard to get off. I however did break one off when putting it back together... LOL. RATS! :bang:
Finally got around to pulling the roof rack. Only had to cut one of the screws as the threaded nut was spinning in the roof hole. Now it's all taped up for now. Was going to buy a kit from Wits but he is out of the roof screws. Then I thought about getting it welded but the headliner is a PITA...
That is a tough one. My headliner looks faded and rather scuffed but it is tight and holding strong. I worry about taking it down and ripping it or not being able to get it back in properly with the metal rods and what not. My main reason for pulling would be to get rid of the roof rack holes. I...
Getting the LC ready for the youngest to start driving. When we last drove her, she was having some intermittent things happening. So today I started doing some troubleshooting with the FSM. During my TS on the AFM I thought that maybe the PO had pulled the plug out so I wanted to check the...
