It belongs here because more people will see it here, and outing a bad company is more important than following "the rules."
BTW, "7 pin" gets the same information across as "pin 7."
Got a buddy looking for a cruiser who just sent me this:
https://portland.craigslist.org/clc/cto/d/gresham-1997-lexus-lx450-land-cruiser/6879507793.html
Anybody know anything about this one?
It's been on CL for 21 days...gotta be something wrong with it...
This bracket FINALLY CURED the unnervingly darty handling of my 80.
I spent 3.5 frustrating years... Begging the Collective Mud Brain: after 1.5 years and 3 mechanics, post-lift handling still sucks!!! ...and thousands of dollars, and week after week in the shop trying to fix this, nevermind...
IT'S FINALLY FIXED!
Stumbled on a thread about the Delta rear panhard lift bracket...
Delta Vehicle Systems Panhard Lift Bracket, 3" & 5"
...installed it last week, and I really couldn't believe the results.
My 80 handles great now...70 mph on broken and rutted freeway, caught between two...
Hey @Haspin FJ, I got @I Lean's bracket too but haven't gotten around to installing it.
Does the Cerwin Vega (it's 5" deep, right?) allow the plastic body panel to fit over it???
Hey @baldilocks,
I saw that thread--it's about the 100 series. But I guess it might be applicable to the 80.
Was just hoping someone knew of someone who was rebuilding these.
Thanks!
I've spent a couple of weeks poring over all the "mush brakes" threads, but they all concentrate different methods of bleeding brakes--but nothing on how to get the ABS actuator rebuilt.
