I used to have a 4x2 Geo Tracker that I took off roading all the time. Stock tires, it was an absolute blast. I miss it sometimes, sure my samurai is a hundred times more capable than it was, but I miss blasting down dirt roads and sliding around turns, basically using it as a little rally car...
This is a pretty amazing idea for a trip... I don't think it would be practical for me to go myself, but it is still an awesome project that I'm going to keep up with.
That is a shame, it is really nice. What is the point of having a rig like that if he never wheels it?
Oh and lowertide have you been to the shores since they bulldozed it? It is completely different, most of the good hills are gone but a there are a few new ones.
Anyone on here belong to the FJ40 that was parked at Anastasia Fitness Club last monday, around 3:00? Greyish I think, winch on the front, fullsize spare and highlift on the back and 35"+ tires. Beautiful rig.
Sounds like a lot of stuff to do... make sure to take lots of pictures at tellico.
I got my 1.6L in, its nice and fuel injection is great on hills. Also I ended up getting a great deal on a brand new set of LTBs, no locker yet though. Hopefully that will come soon. We should do the shores...
32"s little? What does that make my 31"s all terrains then? :o
And an exo cage sounds awesome for your 80, are you and Al going to do it or are you going to have it done somewhere locally?
It was a digital camera, Kodak Easyshare DX something or other.
And I would love to make it out to Alpha, hopefully it reopens soon. Before that I hope to have my 1.6L and an actual exhaust setup, as well as a rear locker. 1.6L is going in 15th, well at least the 1.3L is coming out, don't know...
