Thanks. A few of them were pretty bad, the engine had definitely seen some heat, so I decided to replace them all. Since I am doing a complete frame off I figure an extra 125.00 is no big deal.
Yeah, they did not have the oversized in stock but are checking to see if they can get them. I have my block in the shop and found a groove so had to bore over. Now I need the new pistons pretty quick. Thanks.
Thanks for the info. It was on the rig when I bought it and I am removing all the "smog stuff" as well so I think I have most of the parts required for smog legal.
I just bought a 78 FJ40 and it has an electrical issue. Something is drawing current from the battery while everything is turned off. It has a winch with a dash switch that was added, but even after I disconnect the winch it will kill a battery overnight. Any ideas?:bang:
