Were you able to fix your seat one way or the other? I had a similar issue, white cap fell out, but I kept it nearby. Has a phillips head, so if you find one/it, hold it in the cavity with a screwdriver to prevent it from spinning, and the seat may be able to move back (that's how I got mine...
Fully Agree
Using my ScanGage II, I can watch the alternator drop to ~12.5-13v at idle in the cold, and push a window switch, and it'll drop to ~11.5v. (My solution generally is to bring revs up to 1500 rpms...then window cruises - relatively speaking.) So anything to increase amps through...
Good looking 'za, Eric.
We have a cheap stone from Macy's, fire up our Weber (I see you have a Weber, too), use parchment paper to allow the pizza to slip around until the bottom firms up a bit (not corn meal or flour).
We've done 4 small pizzas instead of one huge one...a cheesy bread...
Exactly what I have up...Coolant temp in upper left, Voltage in upper right, air intake temp (for underhood temp giggles) lower left, GPH to make me cry, lower right.
And clear those pesky PO401's, priceless!!!
Agreed, seems to do the same thing as the ScanGaugeII for a much lower...
Yeah, those, or one of the special color series Scion HU's that are part of some $3k factory package, and dad and son don't like that radio, so they yank it out and sell on ebay.
Definitive Indeed
Too bad this wasn't around 3-4 years ago!
I installed an 1806, too. You can also change the settings for "interior shape" or something like that, so I'm on "xB."
Lavender is the wire you'll tap into.
Throw away the amp.
Throw away the old LX HU.
Used wire cutters or...
Another Thread
I don't want to be "that guy," so I won't tell you to use the "Search" function, then leave you high and dry...so I searched, typed in "door lock actuator" and highlighted the 80-Series Tech line, and bingo, 50 threads. This one was a good one, and you may even get to read one...
Wanted to share a bleat to George at Task LED, for what has become the norm of MUD vendors: Insane customer service.
Bought my dome LEDs from George years ago, loved 'em. One wouldn't light (burnt out?), wrote him and he suggested I send it to him for analysis.
Sent pre-paid two way...
Rear Heater, too?
Run both heater blower motors.
Along with Curtis's comments, do you have airflow in the dash normally? (i.e. is the blower fan working? Evap/core clogged with a fine pelt of dog hair or other varmint leavings?)
As stated, this thing can bake the most frosty of wives...
Amp
There's an amplifier that has the misery of being in the wrong place, slightly to the left of the main HVAC control panel, which, if your windshield has ever leaked, a little water may have leaked down into it, corroded, etc.
Do a search for a/c amplifier. A couple other guys here have...
Q:
To Wears or BlackLX:
I thought I'd read that the LC console armrest sat lower than the LX. True?
Either guy, can you post up a pic?
I'm in full agreement...that CD Changer and Sub are worthless, particularly after the Scion HU upgrade.
Thanks for your help.
Before anyone tells you this isn't the place, next time, post in "Parts For Sale" and hit the WTB (Want To Buy) Prefix button.
I have a set of brackets/speakers/mesh covers sitting in the garage.
PM me your ZIP/Addy and payment plan, and I'll try to help ya. (I'm in 48327, if that helps...
Mass Production
In mass production of aluminum wheels, the color that goes in the "window" is painted on most of the face, and then the entire wheel is simply turned down to the final shape/finish, prior to getting the clear coat painted on. I would imagine the same could have been done here...
X3 on the sweetness of this dealio.
Love the SN. It makes me think of a Cosa Nostra-style guy in his TLC.
(And I mean that in the most respectful way... :D )
Not a Supa-charged guy
but, what I like seeing is that your IAT is pretty consistent. I've been pretty surprised to see that the IAT runs, best case (freeway hustling) ~18* above ambient, and then rockets up ~40-50** above ambient in slow-go driving...and more upon heat-soak.
Seems like...
Allow me to be the first: (quoting bwr9300, because - ) my s-i-l and her hubby own Early Girl Eatery in Asheville. Go there for a delish breakfast to start you on your tour, or your exit from town.
X2 on the write-up. You're quite the wordsmith, and the multipage 'journal' is well worth...
So true. And these windshields seem to invite cracks and craters.
Then there's the leathers (wheel, knob, console, arm rest, front row), as others have writ.
And my own home fabbed front bumper. There've been a few real beauts pop up here in the past couple weeks. Real winners.
So...
Stock cooling system, flushed. Haven't changed out the fan clutch (or modded it) nor the radiator, but they're fairly clean.
184-190* in regular driving conditions, in stop-and-go traffic 188-193*.
As stated previously, this could change once the temps outside climb above the occasional...
