Hi all,
I really appreciate your patience. I wanted to be fair to everyone -- some folks rightly asked to see more detailed photos of the traditionally troublesome rust areas. I had to go back up this weekend and take the pics, so I've asked some of you to wait.
In the spirit of being an...
Hi JP,
sorry for the confusion. I have lived in Chicago the past 8 years, but the truck has been a "cabin car" in McCall, ID during that time. (IOW, no salt!).
Best,
Rick
Thanks for the kind words! I've replied to those who PM'd me and sent some additional info. Will post more pics next weekend -- of some detail on the body, the wheel wells, roof gutters, etc.

Hi all,
I am (somewhat reluctantly) putting my FJ60 up for sale. I am only listing on MUD because I would prefer she go to a good home.
Here's a quick overview and history:

Hi all,
Project in the next few months is to replace the bushings and links on front sway bar. See attached photos.
It's an '87. OME lift (thanks, Mudrak!).
For parts, thinking of using $OR, with the extended links.

I have a '60, but saw these two beauties along Highway 55, just south of McCall.
I only took 1 picture because the family was waiting in the car.
To make it tech talk: can anyone tell which year they are? The one on my left in the pic had a much nicer interior, including the full rubber...
Edit: Sale: Take 50% off of the prices below.

Willys, Jeep Military Trailer
Military trailer, heavy duty, some minor surface rust, otherwise good condition. From what I can read off of plates on back it says 1956 s/n 3922 Model 614m-65. I think its a 1/4 ton. Sold with bill of sale. I also...
Any pics of the undercarriage, the frame rails and the rust spots? Also, the garden hose shut off valves cause me to wonder what other strange mods may be lurking, so any additional info would be helpful.
Tightened up the cap on the end of the drag link. Made it much better. Was really easy to pull the cotter pin, and it turned quite easily. Maybe three turns, then backed it off some.
Thanks very much for your help!
I did a check on the u-joints, doesn't seem to be any play there.
I did read that it's helpful to give it a shot of grease, but I couldn't figure out how to access it, much less see the zerk.
I think my terminology was wrong after I looked more closely at the diagram in the repair manaul, unless the terms are used interchangably - it is the drag link end at the pitman arm showing too much play.
Going to just replace drag link ends, I guess.
Best bet Cdan or Cruiser Outfitters?
