Rear axle out of a 2016 Toyota Tundra 4x4. Axle is stock and does not include brake parts. It is a 4.30 ratio, open diff, 5 lug. It was pulled from a running truck with ~ 150,000 miles due to what the shop said was probably a bad pinion bearing. It’s in good condition otherwise with fluid flush...

I tried a 7.3 for about a year and had enough. Between injector change, a master cylinder, and sensors, I’m done with fords.
In all honesty we have a couple of newer coyote f150s at work and they’re pretty bad ass.
I’m used to the FL ones which have always been great for fast food. I heard they used to be family owned and then bought out by big corporate America which probably explains the quality decline. Who knows.
And since it’s a Toyota forum, I’ll post a pic of a Jeep :flipoff2:
Well for better or worse, it’d be great to see you again and being somewhat local might facilitate that happening. In all seriousness, I don’t think there is a reason that it’d be a bad spot to be and lots of nearby activities (urban and rural) within an hours drive.
Hope you’re well and safe...
@FJCRAWLER
Ha! Where have you been hiding?
I’m not familiar with Yatesville specifically, but you’ll probably hear mixed things about the general area. My general impressions of the area are: not too much development, tons of pine trees, hot as ballz in the summer, and probably lower than...
I’d like to mount the switch on the trans tunnel which is just sheet metal. I like that the smaller switch is fully enclosed. The bottom terminals on the BlueSea would be really close to the mounting surface. I could definitely construct something to keep the studs away from metal but its design...
I’m in the process of relocating my battery to the bed of my truck. While I’m at it, I want to plumb in a kill switch. After lots of reading, Im opting to put it on the positive cable prior to powering any accessories (willing to be persuaded differently). The purpose of the switch is to kill...
Man Rocky, going to all those QAnon gatherings really sent you off the deep end :flipoff2:
Seriously though, glad you got another 4x4. We’d love to see your face again. You should come down to Mardi Krawl in August. Probably have a line of folks wanting to ride in a rig with a/c.
Have you ever had problems catching those calipers on rocks/wood on the trails? They seem to be in a precarious spot.
We’ve mounted calipers on top of the rotor with the TG brackets but bleeding them fully seems to be problematic.
Nothing like a deadline to get things done! Hope you have better luck on your maiden voyage with a Ford tow rig than I did. Went out and bought a Onetundra after that…:hillbilly:
