Just my own experience .. almost 4 years and thousands of miles towing..
No issues with my tow pro elite. I really like the quick adjustability and smooth engagement..
There a few tools I do need that Bosch does not have. But I do have large number of Bosch batteries. I solved some of that by finding battery adapters.. Bosch to whatever.. usually find on EBay. There are some specialty tools I need from Milwaukee and Dewalt. as long as it is 18/20volt the...
Yes! One of my favorite Bosch things., easy to clean.. great washable hepa filter.. sucks water out of pipes.. I even vacuum the sand out of the poodles after a beach run.
Decided to do something with the chalky.. splotchy paint.. Meguiars ultimate compound and 303 Graphene nano spray.. lotta hours on the DA tool. Turned out nice for 20 year old paint. This is a truck I rarely drive.. but looks better parked now!
I still have a 16+ that I decided not to install.. here is my post from about a year ago….
Selling Rhino bumper 2016+
I’ve decided I am not going to do a bumper on my 2020 HE..
I love the Rhino look and actually bought the thing before I had my HE.
Bought it from Gino @mulebarn in 2020 for...
Tows my old ugly dump trailer just fine! I recently installed air bags and it’s good to have that option if the tongue weight gets a bit heavy. Didn’t need to air up for this load.
Not sure if you can… but I can relate this.. Installed air bags last weekend. Some instructions say to release KDSS pressure but I saw a few videos from OZ that simply disconnected the passenger side sway bar bracket at the frame with no KDSS mention. Seemed simple… it unbolted fine and didn’t...
Not exactly roughing it.. but did do some exploring/fishing West of California 395 up Hwy 108 and also West of Bridgeport, CA. Tried out the Starlink for the 1st time.. awesome. We are going dry camping on the Northern CA coast for a week at months end. So I’ll be testing the 1500w power supply...
The 200, 100 & 80 series were terrible in the snow..... they are too stable for teaching my kids how to drive in snow!
We had a place in Lake Tahoe for years and would keep various cruisers there. One (very fun) tradition would be to take the
kids out and have them drive in all different...
I was curious so I checked the Peoples Republic.... Caltrans site..
1 Snow-tread Tires: The California Vehicle Code, Section 558 defines a snow-tread tire as follows, "A 'Snow-tread tire' is a tire which has a relatively deep and aggressive tread pattern compared with conventional passenger...
Short review.. ordered from Brendan.. shipped same day.. arrived USA 10 days later. I have a 2020 HE with the powered hatch. I have that feature disabled because the time it takes to open and close drives me nuts. My slight concern was how the light would work since I have the the hatch...
We had a 2000 Saab 95 Aero.. Silver with BBS wheels.. I loved that fast ass car.. torque steer and all.. I do remember and used the dark mode..
Quirky but awesome engineering in that thing.. Too bad about the GM DNA infection in later years..
I think they were built structurally better than airstreams.. I think Airstreams have an edge on styling. Avions were built in Michigan I think in the early 60s. They were on the high end pricewise. Avion was bought by a major RV company in early 80s and fizzled out by late 80s. Avions had...
