    Rear shock leaking, AHC issue?

One thing to add... Replacing rear coils is straightforward as is turning up the torsion bars. Top nuts on AHC shocks are the buggers.

AHC with LC Springs & Bars

I used used LC100 rear coils :-) Just remember sagging isn't a scientific thing and I don't know how old mine were - they are from a wrecker's yard. And also it depends on what load you are carrying. Cheers Andrew.

AHC with LC Springs & Bars

Towing is a breeze - even a 3500kg van - even goes from L to H with the van on and once out of the driveway and waiting at the next set of lights levels everything up itself. Unlike most tow rigs when you load them the tow ball goes down, this one you know where it is going to be come hell or...

AHC with LC Springs & Bars

Yep. If I leave off the second spare wheel, the car's unladen and when the fuel tanks are on low it's a bit bouncy and sharp on the odd pot hole, but when loaded it works like a new one.

Pic Request - Does anyone have a photo of:

Mine is Sand Dollar Pearl with black front and rear but no OEM side steps. Photos of it here: https://forum.ih8mud.com/100-series-cruisers/609679-what-have-you-done-your-100-series-week-96.html

    AHC with harsh ride

I can't imagine that's possible because it depends on how old and sagged your springs and the weight you have on board. My old sagged 80k spring overloaded were at about 10mPa. Upgrading to a used set of nonAHC rears brought it right on spec... But luck and serendipity, not science ;-) Try...

    My 105 cruiser

Sure bet that one. It has been done, but unless you've a need for seriously impressive articulation it is not worth it. Certainly if you couldn't do it yourself you'd need to have a lot of discretionary green stuff. I think the front axle is the same for LHD and RHD except for the set up...

At risk of sounding like a round piece of worn out black vinyl... what are your neutral pressures?

    Hidden winch mount.

I would think this is for putting in their bullbars. I can't imagine fitting it with a standard from bumper is that is what the OP had in mind.

2000 lx470 car seat latch question

I hope it's not important. They're part of the seat assembly. When you fold up the seats you get clear floor area to work with.

Aren't the fuses labelled on the inside of the lid? As I recall it is pressed in the plastic on my 2003 AU delivery LX.

    AHC with harsh ride

Conceivably. Sensors - yes, valves yes (and more likely). Most perhaps all of these have DTC codes. So what are your reservoir graduations and neutral pressures? Any AHC DTCs? Comfort is "Lincoln Town Car" floatiness on mine. Generally mine stays on sport (thankfully we don't have Lincoln Town...

all auto windows from newer 100 onto 98 100

Why not just suck it and see... borrow one from a mate or ih8mud member nearby, or even a wrecker's yard that will sell it to you if it works (say).

How Do I Remove Center Diff Lock Actuator

It is normal behavior not to engage until you have some motion (depending on how the gears line up). It may be just the Sensor that is open circuit. Have you put it in motion and seen if it is engaged or not.

    AHC with harsh ride

I'm with you on that. I suspect that with the high level of online antagonism towards AHC many folks are needlessly replacing it... They don't know neutral pressures so really don't know if major parts have failed.

    AHC with harsh ride

Sorry Ipad editing of my post! What I meant was... If you don't know your neutral pressures you don't know how far to turn your torsion bars up or down and what to do with your rear to get it in spec. You can't really say anything's likely (likely needs globes etc). You also won't know whether...

there lieth the lesson! Without knowing them you can't follow. For aAny effective maintenance regime It's worth investing in the MiniVCI and techstream.

    AHC with harsh ride

In my experience learning how the AHC works is a good investment, and along with the MiniVCI/Techstream for $30 on eBay gibves you the ability to get the AHC back in spec and riding smooth. None of the AHC maintenance things are expensive. The most complex is replacing the fluid. Nothing is very...

    Model Landcruiser for Christmas?

I think so - I can see the front diff bulge... looks like it's been upgraded though with a bigger diff.
