My order was placed correctly and the company will reorder the intended part. The interesting thing that I found about this is that the bar code attached to the box "rang up" at the register as the VC120. But yet the same label has VC201 printed on it, with the VC201 inside the package...
I ordered the Duralast VC120 on Monday. Went into the store today to pick it up, only to find myself in an awkward situation at first...the box said VC201. Holy Cruiser Crap, what did I do?!?
For better or worse, turns out that it wasn't me that screwed up. The purchase order showed that...
I'm aware that there's a housing shortage in Williston, but I didn't realize that it was so bad that you had to sleep in the hospital! OK, bad joke. Good luck to you!
Not to "drift" off topic......If a Cruiser gets "high centered" during a blizzard, it doesn't matter what diff setup you have. The concerns are now: did you pack proper clothing and recovery gear, and is the engine exhaust entering the cab? Happy winter motoring!
My truck has 165,000 on it, and I know the current brake system is not OEM. If I use the 100 pads, what's your thought in reference to the rotors that should be used?
Thanks.
Folks, I searched but did not see, do we have a 'final' thread or faq that provides a straight answer on the 'best' front brake pads to use on a stock '97?
Cheers.
Has anyone converted the radio antenna from a "mast style" to a "hidden style?" i.e. a antenna that would run along the base of the windshield, or something of a low profile that would stick on the roof.
If so, how is the overall reception quality?
Did a search, but I could not find a solution....
The rear passenger door will only lock/unlock when the driver's power-lock button is toggled back and forth twice.
The process is like this. Turn truck off, toggle lock switch to unlock all doors. Only the rear-passenger lock stays...
The a/c works great when the vehicle is moving. However, on a hot day and stopped at a red light or in traffic, the a/c "stops" blowing cool. Any tips?
I would recommed replacing the clock spring as the last resort. I spent a few hundred $$ to replace mine and still had that the noise. The $4 hose and clamp fixed the problem.
You know when you have a "conservative" LC when it squeals turning "left."
Forget the new seal...I replaced mine & it ripped soon afterwards. I fixed mine with a heavy-duty rubber hose. Split the hose, put it on the shaft & through the firewall. Then tighten it with a hose clamp. 5000...
This winter I was on a tight work schedule when the factory line rusted through. I used rubber heater hose as replacement. It's been several months since then, and so far so good.
