Wanting to get something a little more road worthy on the streets.

Ok...got the wobbling worked out. Thanks guys for the tips. Minor shimming and a balance job (which was a joke considering the size of the tires and the lift and everything else) was the trick. Looks like they glued a door panel on the inside of the wheels for balance weights! That said, rides...

    My new Toy

Thank you guys. It wasn't inexpensive but was worth it and, i knew the previous owner and the build has been a good build with decent equipment. It was a frame off. Not a spec of rust on it and while i at first scoffed at the "aircraft" toggle switches and stuff....everything works and...

Steering is very responsive with no play. That's why the power steering is so scary at speed. If i sneeze, i'm going off a cliff.

    My new Toy

Last time i logged on to here, it was 12 years ago! Dayum has time flown by. Glad to see the forum still rocking. Sold my stock 70' a few years back and picked up an 84' FJ60. Sold that (Wished I hadn't). Got another 70' with a 383 stroker and NV4500. Sold that. Glad I did. Picked up this 71'...

"To 60 or not to 60"...(Keep her or sell her)

Update on selling the 40 or the 60. Ok... Can't get rid of the 60 cuz it fits a lot o's***e in it from Home Depot. Keeping the 40 as well cuz I finally fit in the third garage. Funny how just making room for the 40 put everything into perspective. The 40 is safely tucked away into the garage...
