1998 HZJ75
Purchased in Canberra in 2001. Spent a month kitting it out in Sydney (bull bars, winch, lights, lockers, compressor, heavier suspension, roof rack, roof top tent, 120L water tanks, 2nd battery, fridge, and interior storage). Then about 10 months driving around Australia. Canning...

Cheers,
Chris.
Yes, it is 16".
It came from Australia, so perhaps it was a stock item there. Or perhaps I had it wrong all along. FWIW, a tire guy in Australia told me it is OEM.
Also, they sure do look like these: https://forum.ih8mud.com/60-series-wagons/483540-oem-chrome-wheel-rust-any-suggestions.html
I have what I believe to be an OEM 60-series chrome wheel. (It definitely fits a '98 75 series.) Can someone confirm this?
I want to sell it - roughly what is it worth? Great condition, other than the little bit of rust shown in the last photo.
Thanks in advance,
Chris in Seattle.
On the backspacing - since my tires (235/85R16) are bit wider than stock, I occasionally rub lightly on the inside. I take it, from your advice about 3.5" and also from https://www.rsracing.com/tech-wheel.html that I can move to 3.5" backspace and stop the rubbing? Any other reason to do...
Thanks Greg.
Googling on Unique also got me to the US wheels 70 series: U.S. Wheel 70 series, which have the exact same numbering system as the Series 21 - same manufacturer? These US Wheels definitely have right pinstriping, but it is hard to tell if the Unique wheels do from the bad photo...
I need two white steel 16" wheels for a '98 HZJ75 (6 lugs). I am pretty sure I have seen these around in the US (these came from Australia), but searching got me nowhere, what with all the search spam these days.
I am open for used in good condition or new if it comes to that. I don't care...
I went into a local Recaro shop, started poking around under seats, and realized that I was being a bit thick. I don't need a whole new slider and bracket - I can just reuse the existing ones. Duh.
The Recaro and Corbeaux seats all have plates on either side (running fore and aft) and their...
photos finally...
Ok, I finally got some photos... I am really slow.
Simon, if you could check to see if the dimensions match yours, that would be really great. I wonder if 75 and 78 series seats have the same mounting dimensions? They sure look the same. Did you get your recaro seats...
Thanks for the photos Phrogg. Mine look exactly the same. I'll post photos next time i get near a real computer.
I did measure the bolt pattern. Both front and rear bolts are exactly 12 inches (317mm) apart (left to right). The front to rear distance is about 15 1/2 inches. I say "about"...
BTW, the Troopy is Australian registered and only in the US temporarily (one year).

I'll post seat photos and measurements tomorrow.

Merry XMas all,
I have a 1998 75 series Troopy (1HZJ75). I need to replace the front seats. At the very least I have to replace the driver's seat.
What other LC models have seats that will fit a 75 series? Right-hand drive in case it matters.
The vehicle is currently in the USA, so I am...
