A Few pics
Man the quotas on iH8Mmud.com for pics are slim. Sorry if the quality is bad. I've posted on Autotrader.com with more higher res pics also. FYI.
Thanks.

This 4 runner has been tried and true. There has never been a major mechanical flaw with this vehicle. Maintenance has been kept up. Majority of miles are highway. This vehicle has been great on trips. There's a Manik grill guard, tow hitch, and subwoofer, plus an alarm. 2 sets of keys. Michelin...
The leak ended up being the sunroof drain. Once I ran some fairly flexible bailing wire through it the the leak never came back. The black trim piece was something I never fixed. It remained loose, but water never came in from it being loose.
Run the bailing wire through it, and move the...
Thanks guys for the advice.
I think I'll be a more forum regular now that I can post more easy from my phone. Guess they're still working out all the kinks.
Well hello everyone. I appreciate all the advice. Sorry to say thank you so late.
I think I will try the makeshift lift to accommodate a slightly larger tire. I'm just looking for a beefier stance first. I like the idea of doing this for some time then putting an actually lift on it.
Thanks again.
Well after being lazy for awhile I took it to my local LCspecialist guys and it's a cat shield on the front driver side. About $100 to fix total.
Can't wait to get rid of that darn scratching rattle.
I need new tires so I figured I'd do a 2" lift also. I plan on keeping my stock 16" wheels. What tire size would good well with that lift?
I don't want anything hard core. I'd like to keep the look relatively stock looking, but definitely create more of a "solid stance", so to speak.
Thanks.
Ive had a horrible noise also coming from the front, sounded like a scratching rattle, that came only when you gooses the throttle. Been going on for a couple of months on and off. Today the noise was gone and now my fan increases with the rpms none stop. At 3,000 rpms my LC sounds like a plane...
Ok boys I'm going to go out on a limb and self diagnose. Today the scratching rattle stopped, and the fan now speeds up as the rpm's increase. So I think my fan clutch went out. Therefore the scratching rattle, had to be a failing fan clutch. I'll know more when I take it into the shop on...
I just started my car and started driving an as the rpm's rose it sounded like the fans speed kept increasing with the rpm's. I stopped at a gas station for a bit and then started on my way. It stopped for about 5-7 miles then came back.
The noise is quite loud, you can hear it over the A/C...
I don't know that's why I put estimated. I don't know what size tire I need or should go with for a lift this size. I'm open to any suggestions or tips : )
