Looking again, I guess someone might also feel like they’ll have timing belt coming up.. you can’t help that, but maybe it’s another upcoming cost scaring off your prospective buyer?
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I think you got a smoking deal on it to begin with.. that deal was mostly you taking a risk (blown suspension), and you should be able to make up some of your after market costs due to the risk you took..
However, once a prospective buyer sees the good deal you got, they don’t want to be paying...
Oops! I thought you posted looking for GX info (I forget there are other 120's out there.. a ton of the posts here are for gx's, I guess because there are so many other boards dedicated to the 4runners.)
Should be tons of info on t4r and others for double din units for the 4runner.. sorry for...
I deflated spare to 7psi and pulled most of the way up with factory spare cable. Then, ratchet strapped from bottom front of tire to frame rail toward back bumper.
Had to be shifted slightly toward passenger side to fit, but is still only 1/2" from panhard bar.
I've run a few hundred miles...
I would grab a cheap OBD reader from your local auto parts store to see what code is being thrown (or some of them will hook up a machine to read the codes for free).
When my SAIS (cold start emissions system) would throw a code, it would light up all the lights you are seeing. I haven't seen...
I'm working through this right now..
I have 285/70/17 and same size spare, all relatively new tires but the spare is a mismatch so I won't be rotating it in.
I have the FJ-style hitch (cutout from center of bumper - which apparently makes the fit a little tighter compared to the...
I did the SAIS fix last weekend. Easy to put in the relay, and if you do it before the system fails you (supposedly) don't need to install plates to block sensors.
I used the kit from Jeff Cole here, pretty much could have made it myself but Jeff made it really easy for only $48 shipped...
Also - I have it on the list for my GX470 to hook the factory air pump to a tank for onboard air. There's already a 50A circuit and relay under the hood.
Seems like it should be simple to wire in a dash switch to the pump relay with a pressure switch on the tank.
I haven't seen any posts from...
First thing - assuming it is a GX470 (not 460) check your dash - if it has any cracks at all, even a tiny one - or if it seems sticky, get it to a dealer right away to get a repair order in their system before 5/31. Warranty coverage was extended on these through May 2017, but you have to get...
Fried is a great guy. Worked with me every step of the way for a remote sale, even though neither of us had sold or bought remote before! (For anyone interested, we talked to each other a lot, exchanged info and pics of licenses, title, etc, to be sure it was a safe and secure transfer.)...
