hey guys i did a search on wheel spacers and found some pretty good info, but most of it was older. what are you guys running for wheel spacers and does anybody have any pics of before and after? thanks!
hey guys.. a buddy of mine just picked up a 1990 FJ62.. great rig but it needs some TLC.. whats a good source for OEM parts and aftermarket stuff? thanks!
hey guys.. so i got the 285/65-18 BFG ATs mounted on the 06. It looks great and honestly, i love the E rated ride. I think it feels like a truck, which it is.. and the stiffness has seriously helped the handling. Anyway.. the next stage im looking at is the Slee AHC controller. Is it just me...
i used to run my 285/75/16s at 40 lbs at all four corners on the road. tire pressure is kind of a personal preference thing in my opinion. When i got my 06 they were at 32 lbs on all four and i set those up to 40 as well.
thanks for that link.. thats exactly what i was looking for. Looking at that guys signature, that 04 is slightly lifted and doesnt look like theres a ton of room in the wheelwell. will the 285/65 stuff under a stock AHC truck?
haha.. thanks man.. but i could just look at pics of my old 99 on 285/75s for that!! ;)
your rig looks pretty sharp though.. i dig the black wheels
im torn between 275/70s and 285/65..
just for sh*ts and giggles, heres the truck they will be going on..
im really pulling this one out of the MUD cellar.. but im having a similar issue with my 06. my cold start idle is roughly 1200 rpms and as soon as i drop it into gear, it settles down to normal +/- 750 rpms. My 99 never did this..
anybody else have this issue? what might be causing it?
does anybody know if the ghastly looking OEM fender flares are removable? well, i assume they are removable, but does it leave any remnants on the wheel wells?
for starters.. i know this has been beaten to a pulp, and ive searched and read most of the threads, theres some good info on here. But.. with that said, im still at a loss. On my 99 i ran 285/75/16 BFGs.. that was an easy one. On this thing, im spun between the 285/65/18 and the 275/70/18. I...
see.. that was what i wanted to hear. thanks man..
ill also look into the tsb on it. In my mind, anytime you take something as simple as a spring and turn into a fluid involved hydraulic action full motion set up there has to be some percentage of failure.. especially being familiar with...
yeah man.. the only thing to do with a P38 is convert it.. or continue to replace valve blocks, line, and the springs themselves to the tune of thousands. A P38 range is actually a great wheeler on HD OMEs, but then theres still the BeCM, ECU, HVAC and everything else in there that can go...
