    Heading out from SW New Mexico. Will be running up the west side of state. Starting to sprinkle here now. Hope to get out in front of it as we all know how well the 48 year old wipers work. Lord willing and the creeks don't rise will see all in Ouray this afternoon

    Sorry ground did not fix I am not an electrical guru, but I would take my alternator to be checked. Auto zone used to do testing. Good luck.

    Clean your ground wire connection on your alternator I just had a fluctuating Amp Guage and this cured it. Cheap and simple

    Whatever direction it goes, make sure there is a plan and a willingness to search for the next handoff. The batons have been stuck for about 2 years.     I would meet in Tucson if someone would bring it from Phoenix. If someone in Tucson wanted to carry it, I could meet somewhere between Tucson and Silver City. From here I could travel North or East to pass it on.
