It will default to on and will need a button press to turn it off every time the vehicle starts. As far as I know that's how they all work.
There will be aftermarket and DIY methods to default it to off though.
I would also expect it to be much more smooth and less annoying in a hybrid. I've...
That's the first I've seen Brown Sugar Metallic. I wondered if it's a different name for Meteor Shower.
I'll be really annoyed if we get two whites AND two browns. 👎
They both look good, but I want a modern-looking Cruiser and I think the "retro round" look is overdone lately.
I like that most seem to like round better. Maybe I'll have just a tiny bit easier time getting a Land Cruiser trim.
Another PM2.5 source is brake wear, which should be less on EVs with the regenerative braking. Though maybe that's reduced by the extra weight of EVs causing more brake wear when they are used. I'm not sure how the two sources would compare, but maybe would offset each other some.
I put this together because I wanted the same thing.
Trail Dust, Heritage Blue
Meteor Shower, White*
Underground, Black
* As far as I could tell, Ice Cap and Wind Chill Pearl are both white. White is my least favorite so I didn't bother trying to find both. Why two...
I don't remember where I saw it, but something I read implied the two-tone colors were FE only. Anyone else see that?
Edit: found it on the Toyota press release site.
Race tracking (I don't think I saw this in the thread yet):

Good luck guys! Be safe!
Hey, it was a 3-day weekend and some of us like to leave early on Fridays. I got your message this morning and replied when I got a chance. Check your email.:flipoff2:
And tarbe is right, no wheeling around Logan.;)
I helped Mixmaster do this to his '68 (it's a wierd one. some things '68, some '67) Boy he was pissed when we found ball and claw axles in his '68.
Anyway, pull out that brass bushing and then you will be able to go to your bearing supply house (motion industries or whatever) and get a seal...
Are you talking about the wrap bars?
Looks good except a wrap bar of that design with the bar above the spring relies on the spring to be rigid in compression, which it's not.
I'm sure it works to some extent, but I don't think it's ideal.
Yeah, it locks closed and anywhere open. It's pretty nice, but I used a coarse spline hub so I had to use an old Warn locking hub on there. It takes almost a full turn to lock it. It would have been nice to have an aisin or other that only takes a 1/4 turn.
Hey Gary, it's been a long time. How are you doing?
Glad it came apart in a slow speed situation. I guess at least they did send you the new ends so you had something to fix it with. That's weird that they came with no explanation.
I'm running an RD08 in the front of my 40. I did that so if and when my rear lockright dies and I can't afford another ARB at the time I can swap the ARB into the back.
Another bonus of having the semifloat ARB in the front is the center block keeps the axles from going into the diff too far...
Hooray! I'm so glad! (and I am the cruiser kid person too ;) ) I'm loving that people like my stuff!
Oh and P.S. to the first post, I've just added the regular mens white Tshirt to my girl stores, which also comes in Regular Kids sizes S-M-L to fit the girls between toddler and womens sizes...
