Truck Looks GREAT - Please consider using the fifth bolt that is grade 8 in the your reverse shackle bracket, to secure it to the bottom of your frame. There should be a hole in the top of the bracket and bottom of the frame that line up. (I think I had to drill the frame hole a little larger...
Did you put the add a leaf on? our did the previous owner put then on? I would double check the stock spring pack for cracks. Unfortunately it would crack at the center alignment pin. (weakest point) that means remove for inspection. However you can look for clues for a broken spring. Buy...
I had a "Violent death wobble" on my 1987 FJ60. The loud clucking noise, The steering wheel would shudder badly. It felt like the front end was going to fall off (almost did) along with wheel hop. The problems would show up at 10-40 mph, after hitting a bump in the road, braking, sometimes...
That Napa part # 819-4739 costs $68.00 Each
I ground out the ball studs from old lift supports. then used

I sure it did, but stopping a 2.5 tons of truck is a lot diffrent than stopping a hand turned wheel with no load or weight.
Your best bet is to replace both calipers both sets of shoes and rotors, the rotors may have uneven ware and may be at the minimun thickness limits, At least messure...
Thats exactly what was wrong with mine. It only took 3 times to figure it out :bang: cost me 1 oil pan gasket / 2 timing gear cover gaskets and seals  and one timing plate gasket and it was fixed. :) After all this practice the final tear down only took 1 hour to get to the front plate...
I adjusted the slave cylinder rod a little bit. Then added a spring from the slave cylinder brackett to the clutch fork. This keeps the throwout bearing from riding on the clutch pressure plate all the time. that worked well for me.
