Who has pics of the space you gain by removing the dvd player? That battery @xeuxaz linked to is less than 6” wide. I hate ripping into the interior and pulling stuff out, but no one uses the dvd player any more.
2006 w AHC and King springs in the rear. Tow a 6 1/2 x 10 single axle for all the dirty and heavy tasks. Nice thing is I can drag it around the lawn with the tractor to keep the 6500# Moose off the lawn.
Yes, it is another asset to maintain. Yes, you have to learn how to back it up...
Curious if anyone has figured a sweet solution to carry a house battery in the area of the “fit kit” on an ARB drawer setup? Some of these lithium batteries are small enough that a creative solution might exist. Maybe a 50ah on each side?
I built/customized mine a bit different to make it...
Had mine replaced today. Original OEM came out, bit out surface corrosion on driver side that we coated with a little POR and then primered the rivet holes before new rivets were inserted. My local Cruiserhead garage recommended the installer. Express Auto Glass out of White Bear Lake...

I am trying to carefully remember the process of mounting the bumper, but don’t recall cutting. Unless it was perhaps trimming of the frame horn? Is that right? I know you drill to “pin” the bumper but I don’t remember cutting.

Eezi Awn K9 rack. No drill. No fuss
Asfir skids. No drill.

My 06 LC is just knocking on 200k. This winter I kicked off a TB/WP replacement that ended up with most of the front of the motor renewed. Pulleys, belts, and brackets. (See build thread). It is easily the quietest running V8 I’ve ever heard. Now, i do question whether the replacement parts...
Not the most glamorous... but its what keeps it all going. All OEM parts.
Land Cruiser timing belt and water pump replacement. Mileage - 194K
During repair noted minor abnormal noise from timing belt tensioner pulley, timing belt idler pulley. fan bracket pulley, upper drive belt idler pulley...
I’ve got an 06 with 190. Just did the TB/WP and radiator. It has a few ARB items…. And I would not let it go for $21k. I’ve had offers at $25. And it’s still in my garage.
LC and a trailer. Done it. Been there. Wrote the checks as they went through college for forestry and environmental science. One is going into business like his old man, but that can’t be helped.
Only regret I have is that I upgraded trailers AFTER the kids left the house.
I built...
Have you thought about an awning with an awning room? This is the ARB 2500x2500 with the Gen 1 room, and what I like over a ground tent is the straight walls and the multi purpose nature of the awning. What I don’t like is how it acts in the wind. This can be mitigated to some extent by...
