I just got a Craftsman 150psi - somewhere around 30gal - it come with some basic tools. Works great. thik I paid somewhere in the $300 range. I'd buy it again too!

8MPG if you have a 383 Stroker! :D Fact is, you get 8MPG whether the engine is on, off, up hill, down hill, towing, puching, or being pulled. Seems like I can't shake that #.
I got my windshield replaced - same thing.... I finally fixed it by spreading gasket (glue) around the seals and then going back an cleaning it up when dry. It's been dry as a bone now for weeks.
The PO did the swap in my rig to a SBC - said that other than being time consuming - it wasn't too bad at all. Just wondering now why it looks like crap.... everything works so I really shouldn't complain too much.
Assuming that power were not an issue (as it isn't with the stroker) -...
Not sure - I had no leaks, nothing that would really let me believe that it was going - other than the fact that it just wasn't feeling like it used to. I drove it around for a few weeks - sure enough when I replaced it all "weirdness" stopped.
Did I read somewhere that SBC's are notorious for running a little hot on the trail? We never overheated - just ran higher than normal. Not sure what I could do to fix this - or if it even needs to be fixed.....

I've never owned a 2F - but I love my 383 Stroker... hate the economy - but thatt's not why I bought it! I'd love to see specs on the low end - but I have never had a problem with anything. The fact that EVERY single auto parts store has enough parts to do a complete rebuild isn't a bad thing...
