Yeah, you know you're getting ripped off when a new locker is almost 1/2 the cost of the cable conversion kit. The kit only has about $75 in materials, if that. Screw the cable... I'll just rig something up and turn it by hand for now.
I should be able to make it. I just have to rig up some kind of cable system for my e-locker. The motor took a dump and the company that makes the cable conversion systems wants about $550 for one . Anyone have any suggestions?
Well, Thursday is out for me. I have to be in school for a test that night and won't get out 'til 9:30 P.M. Having to come back Sunday, it's kind of a lot of driving for 1 day.
I might be up for it. I missed out on PYS... and well... almost everything this year. I'll have to leave Sunday though. Anyone planning on leaving the Chicago area Friday morning / early afternoon or even Thursday?
I'm bringing potato salad and "a charming vegetable medley" although I don't know how charming it will be. Don't worry, I'll bring plenty of ranch to hide the taste of the vegetables.
It's new. I got a kink in the wire one this winter helping someone out of a ditch so I decided to go synthetic. The new fairlead (without the rollers) looks 100X better too.
So I got the oil changed, the new fair-lead on the bumper and new synthetic winch line installed, got everything back together, started packing and then..... the f'n power goes out. It's not supposed to be back on till at least 8 tonight. I get to sit home and babysit the generator / sump pump...
