I have a 454 in my 60. I just put the Chevy radiator in my land cruiser. Seems to cool fine. Gets a little warm when it idles with the ac on but I never built a shroud.... Once I get moving it's fine.
Yes I understand your thought process and theory. I ran 2" spacers for a couple years and I now have two piece adapters up front. The threads are steel, not aluminum, so I don't really see how that's any different than running a wheel straight off the hub when it comes to stripping. The way...
Yes that's exactly what I did. I have the two piece aluminum adapters on the front on a 62 axle. My buddy milled out the inside for me. The back is a 14 bolt so I never want d different wheends. I don't really understand how these could fail. If you tighten them properly the odds are against...
Im not sure about those transmissions but when i put a different transfer case in my landcruiser i was able to grind the old speedometer cable to fit into the new transfer case shape.

When I pulled my motor and my donor truck motor I had help. It went pretty smoothly.
When I put my drivetrain back in I didn't want to wait till people could come...
So you're saying I'm a really good driver then! Thanks!
No seriously I get what you're saying, I just don't full-heartedly agree. It's that simple. No big deal. You don't agree with me either.
My main point still resides in the fact that I ran the setup for years and had none of the...
Well I'm still going to have to disagree on the fact that you can compare the two. Mainly because I ran this exact same setup with 33s and 2.5" backspacing and 2" spacers. My scrub radius was ridiculous and I had no problems on or off the road at slow speeds or high speeds. Different...
