    Its held on by two plates which are nutserted to the underside of the goof gutter between the door seal and siliconed up so no water gets into the pillar. Its really strong i think you would have to roll the car to bent it:eek:

    Well people do argue that when its facing forwards you get the ram affect cause the air is forced in, but others will say that facing rearwards is the way to go because you dont have to turn the snorkel head around when your out mudding and because 90% of 4wding is at slow speeds(the ram affect...

    I got them already bent, they sell them like that from the manufacturer, you need 2 90 deg and 1 45 deg and about 1.5m straight pipe. I only cut the straight bits to suit and then welded them together.

    I personaly havent seen the K&N ones so i couldn't say, but how mine is set up the 4in pipe lines up with the 3in air box pipe and only the hump hose is between the two, so nothing to restrict air flow. I got the hump hose from a truck parts store, they use them all the time over here on trucks.

    Il try get a photo of under the bonnet to show the hump hose connection. Thanks for the replys at first i was worried about the size but now i love it, and its even helped the fuel economy with the better air flow.
