FWIW, the windows only need to slide open a few inches to provide much ventilation. On mine, opening them further doesn't seem to help the airflow, except maybe when I'm sitting stationary.
That being said, I really like being able to reach in through the side to grab beverages or whatever.

I just used some Confer type gutter brackets, and bolted on rectangular tubing. I used 3 cross bars to better support a RTT, and works well for the kayak.
The external pumps are pretty noisy all the time. I can hear mine. If you sandwich some foam between the pump and straps it helps somewhat.
Also mounted to the frame instead of sheet metal would probably help the noise level. ... if it bothers you

IAC is bouncing around, or just not between 2-10%?
If the IAC is closed and it's idling high, air is getting in somewhere. Throttle is slightly open, or you have a vacuum leak.
...vacuum line, PCV, Brake booster, gasket, manifold... lot of places for air to get in.
That's great buddy. I sort of suspected the ecu when you said you weren't getting an rpm signal. Glad Holley took care if it for you.
RPM will be adjustable with the screw on the side at the linkage.
One thing I recommend is reading the manual front-to-back, back-to-front... and than read it...
