Has there been any discussion on the date the Round Up will take place?
I'm going to retire in March and hopefully, the day before Round Up will be my last day at work.
Not sure if anyone is interested or not, but there's a gun show this weekend at Travis Co. Expo Center :bounce2:, I'll be there about 10:00 a.m. be there or be square....unless your are out huntin' or wheelin' then you are excused.
Hey guy's anyone know of a good alternator shop South? Texas Alt. & Starter is a little far North for me (although, if that's the only place.....), so I can get an alternator rebuilt (mine alt. is a Bosch, hmmmm german alt. in jap vehicle....).
Also, anyone have a rear heater motor for a 40...
Hey guys, need a little direction on my ARB air locker. I have a 78 40, sbc, SOA running 36" tires, saginaw PS converstion. The truck in 2 wheel drive and 4 wheel drive steers great, but when I engage the front ARB (detroit in the rear), this thing will not steer for S*&t.. I have had lockers in...
Hey guys, I know this is a quick notice, think I could talk a couple of you guys into coming out to help me put the roll cage back in my 40. It is just a little much for the wife and I to handle, so, two people will be fine, three would be good too. Bad part is, it wil probably take you longer...
Hey Guys, I have a '78 40 w/ 350 sbc, (incidently, everything I am mentioning here was installed by a previous oner). The conversion consisted of a Downey bell housing, with stock 4 sp tranny. Question is, what chevy starter(s) (part number is fine) are used with this bell housing. The starter...
Hey guys, little help. I'd like some ideas on moving the battery to another location on a 40. Due to some alterations on my current project 40, I can't (or really don't want to) put the battery in the stock location and would like to see some alternate locations where some of you guys have put...
Kommando,
It's not fininshed yet, few have seen pics of the build, but here is a pretty current picture of it. I hope this turns out, first time to post a picture... The roll cage and front is not finished yet either.
Hey! I just got my new copy of Toyota Trails in the mail today. There is a BIG picture of Edwin's 62 in the article and a smaller picture of me in my 40 just above it. Out of the eight picturs in the article, two of them are Austin Club members!!!! WooHooo!!!:bounce::bounce2:
Don't have a picture of it, but I have seen it a lot, it's a yellow 40 and it is usually parked in a parking lot at an office building at Loop 360 and Lost Creek. If I would have had a club business card or something, I would have put it on the windshield. See it there everyday...
Hey guys, need a few pictures from you guys who have attached your roll cage to the frame. Most specifically, the main hoop and the attachments further back for the kicker bars. My ideas put things to close to the tires, and it's been awhile since I have been around any built 40's to take a look...
