I had some vibrations when I pulled my trailer, 12' with a RZR 4 on it, bad at acceleration and went away when not pulling. Installed diff drop, same thing, then found the grease zerk on the slip yoke of the rear driveline was broke and it was dry. Greased it and the vibrations went away. Also...
I have 2 of these tires. THey have about 5000 miles on them and about 85% tread. i would like $200 for the pair, buyer pays shipping. would take trade for a fly rod.
stopped by the dealer the other day to see if there was a traction control switch for my 08 fj. After looking at the computer, it showed that there was a slot for tracion control next the diff lock. Top left. parts guy said that if there was wiring for it all you would need to do is buy the...
As for the install it was a sob. the nuts on the underside of the roof fell off and I had to remove the head liner and I had to use lots of silicone. As for the wind noise, ARB makes an air-dam for the front of the rack andit seems to cut down the wind noise quite a bit- sells for about $90...
I run the American Racing (Chrome Trench) with the stock backspacing in a 17X8 with no rub issues. Make sure that you order a hubcentric wheel for toyota or you may have issues with vibration. I had that problem on a tundra that i had.
I have a set of 4 BGF KM 2 tires with about 5000 miles on them. they are a 245X70X17 and they measure about 30.5 inches tall and 9.5 inches wide. Tread is about 95%, they have been off the pavement maybe 8 times, all in the hills, no rocks. they were not what i wanted so i am selling them...
KM2's
I like the looks of the tire but the noise is pretty loud. not bad at first but after about 6000 miles they had a distintive sound. If youdo a lot of highway driving they will drive you crazy. toyo's are not as bad.
use lots of silicone(recomended by ARB). I have installed mine 3 times and the third time was a charm, lots of silicone. mine leaked a lot and yes it is a pain to install and I had t buy new bolts, dont try to use the stock ones, stainless is the way to go.
