Replaced the Valve Assembly (Purge valve VSV) part# 25860-50100. Codes P2418 C1201 have not returned in the past 4 months though the Cruiser has only been driven 1000 miles since.
Source of the AHC fluid leak was the actual shock. Figured it was a matter of time before the other side leaked so I replaced both front shocks, bushings, and associated hardware, plus flushed the AHC system. All is well now.
I'll answer the first part of your post, the 2nd provides zero contribution to the community.
145k mileage, I did a complete AHC fluid drain/fill within the past 50k, and 1k miles ago I emptied and filled the AHC reservoir with new fluid. Techstream screenshot is from today.
Added a couple of more photos. It would be fantastic if it's just an O-ring!!!
Anything else besides the O-Ring and AHC fluid while I'm searching for part numbers? Any nuts or bolts I should buy in case they break with corrosion?
USA driver's side front, some type of oil is actively leaking and dripping, leaving a puddle under the LX470. Seems to come from around the front shock area. Any ideas?
Bump.... my 2004 LX w/145k just got VSC TRAC, VSC OFF, ENGINE lights on.
TechStream P2418 C1201 codes.
I have tried a new gas cap. Is there a consensus on the fix?
I just switched from dino to synthetic oil 200 miles ago.
When you re-added your cars, did you have any self-reported service history show up or just the dealership service history? My account hasn't been working for months. Lexus support suggested to delete my account and then have me create a new one. My concern is all of my self-reported service...
Last night I went over a speed bump and heard a very weird noise. Upon inspection the front drivers side sway bar has disconnected. Can you guys tell me the part numbers I need and things I should replace while doing this job? I’m assuming the bar itself is ok but I need new links or bushings...
The price BIO lists on the website is for a basic bumper - no spindles, no integrated hitch compatibility, no hitch plugin port, no delivery costs.
If you're able to purchase this setup for $1000 directly from BIO you should absolutely go for it. Zero regrets!
