It's just about time to lift the 60. I've had good luck with OME in that past and will go that way again. Any suggestions as to a good shop on the COLO front range that can handle this?
reasonably priced, obviously would be appreciated.
thanks for the help
i purchased some 285 75 17's for my FJ and they are a bit too big for my taste - they have less than 100 miles on them (mounted drove home - drove to have them swapped out) Paid over $700 for them - would be happy at this point to get $600 out of them - in Denver Area.

This sounds like a similar problem that i had in a 97 honda civic last year. It was a culmination of things and took a while to figure out, but the long and short of it was the altrinator went kind of bad (it still worked sometimes) and that caused the battery to blow a few cells - the problem...
i would have to agree with everything stated above. But what a great position to be in, where your two choices are a great vehicle, or a really great vehicle. He really is on the right track and won't go wrong with either.
i think a similar maintenance schedule would be great as well. I especially like the idea of an "importance rating" being attached to each item.
I wouldn't think it would be too hard for us as a group to put one together fairly quickly.
restrained? Like bolted down....no gravity held it in place, it fit tight enough as to not slide forwards and backwards, but like i said a good jolt from the rear (can i say that) would have folded it up on its hinges.
This is a classic eBay scam, the only error they made was to have an email conversation with someone from this board. They should have chosen consumer electronics as their "product" of choice...much harder to trace.
Sorry if this is not too technical, but i do have a few questions about how the CDL works with the switch.
Here's how I understand it, can someone confirm or set me straight.
When the truck is in H with the switch off, it is just AWD
When it is in H with the CDL switch engaged, it behaves like...
In my tacoma, i had a cut made through the center with piano hinges underneith. I kept a little wedge shaped block under there - where the hinges were just barely starting to close - that way if i was rear-ended it would fold up. When i was sleeping, i could easily remove the wedge and it was...
Ordered a CDL switch from C-Dan on Friday - it's already installed. I am so psyched that i found this board. Thank you for the great customer service C-Dan.
