I use a set of DBA 4000 SERIES brake rotors and HAWK LTS pads on all 4 wheels. Getting a bit more dust then with stock pads, but stopping power is way much better. I feel more safe at high speed and when tow my trailer.
I got exactly same problem at same location, when installed my trailer hitch.
I used a big strong screwdriver to fix alignment. Inserted it throw the hole along with nut, and firmly pry off multiple times (using as a prybar) until it was close enough to centre. It took about 15 - 20 min. to fix.
Hard damping problem solved !
Hi Tinkerer. I had very similar problem on my 470 and just recently get it fixed. As a last chance :bang: I removed AVS & AHC combo switch (easy to pray out bezel and pull it using small flat screwdriver, then disconnect wiring). When I took switch apart I found...
From my observations, to keep your rig top performance and for better gas mileage it is good practice to replace O2 sensors every 75K miles, even CEL does not warn you about.
At that age they do not provide adequate feedback to ECU. Sensor has four wires and connector: two wires serve for O2...
1. Pray off center dash panel and install your new radio.
2. Place back Dash panel and measure the gaps on top and both left and right sides
3. Fabricate thin metal cover (I used easy to cut perforated aluminum from Home Depot), that will fill the gaps on top and both left...
I use 87 octane only on my track for years. I clearly understand all possible problems, related to lower octane gas, but none of them was detected under various working conditions (speed, load, temperature, long uphills, elevation... );)
Last summer I got same symptoms with my 99LX. It was not that bad, but in about 2 month I ended up with CEL dropping code P0505.
Felt some positive difference after cleaned up TB.
Along with board CPU and multiple sensors, TB is a part of complicated fuel mixture system feedback, that especially...
