I towed over 5000pds 2000miles a couple years back. Stopping is definitely the hardest part. Remember the 1fz engine likes to rev high and you should be fine
Old thread brought back! Yes what you have done looks correct to me. Mobil 1 grease should be fine. Hard to keep those grease types separate no doubt after you tires have been spinning a few miles if ya ask me anyways.
I remember there used to be a few online LHD importers in Canada. One in Calgary called cougar imports I think? Bringing in "meticulously maintained" LHD diesel gwagens. But if you zoomed in to the pics they were always rusty. In my fantasy world I can see a niche market need but there doesn't...

Had my alternator fail at about 80k on my 07 but we figured it had something to do with snowplowing with it and excess moisture and salt getting in there. Besides that it is going good with almost 150k on it now
My plug is gone off the vehicle harness at the rear axle. i have the diff lock harness and plug, but need to know what wiring goes where, as far as colours of wires etc.. i used to have a diagram showing it, but cannot find it. anyone ???
Man oh man that is a nice car....my 80 is probably a little "worn" although I just passed inspection a few months ago....I would guess mine to be worth more like 4k.
