Pistol Pete is getting out of short-course racing and is emptying out gear. he's got a drum of Lucas Semi-Synthetic ATF he's looking to unload cheap. if there is enough interest i'll pick it up and dispense as needed. if i take it all (about 30 gals) i can probably get it for $8-10 a gal. any...
searched and searched but can't find any information on the flow rate of the
fuel pump in the FZJs. saw a post some time ago (that i can't find now) that
said it was 190lph, but that seems like it must be a free flow number not at
45psi (unless there is there's a ton of overcapacity built in)...
why do our trucks need to vary the fuel pump speed? if the fuel pressure
regulator control the fuel rail pressure why vary the pump speed.is it a way
to increase longevity by not running it maxed out all the time...
how much can you delete from a 1FZ before you start effecting it's performance.

a few of you have borrowed "old rusty" and anyone that has need
of it in the future is more than welcome to take him for a day or
a week but i need to find somewhere to store the beast in the
meantime. if anybody has a line on cheap place to store it i would
be most appreciative. don't want...
wanted to replace the c-clips while i had the hubs apart putting on new rotors. the parts guys
says i have to know the thickness of the c-clip because there are multiple clips for the '04 front
axle. whats up with that?
you may remember the last tent showed up with a large dent
that only i could see, well the folks at fedex delivered the
replacement today...
...it was nice they went to the extra effort to actually punch
a hole all the way through it this time instead of just a dent. :flipoff2:
